Earlier this week at a special D23 event Disney unveiled a pair of new characters for Disney Infinity 2.0: Maleficent, from the recent movie of the same name, and Merida, from Brave.

The video shows both Maleficent and Merida interacting entirely within the Toy Box.

The official Facebook page for Disney Infinity posted this image which appears to be teasing an announcement of Maleficent for Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition.

She was previously spotted hiding in the background of the recent announcement trailer but it is still unclear whether she will be part of a full Maleficent Play Set or just be a standalone Toy Box character.
